    Summary
    Build, program, set up, and operate robots. Other responsibilities are to make necessary modifications to equipment to ensure proper motion, troubleshoot robots and weld controllers, and maintain safety standard for all parts of the equipment.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
    The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Read blueprints to determine correct sequential processing for welding product.

    ·    Work with Engineering to develop welding fixtures.

    ·    Create Robotic welding programs.

    ·    Setup robotic welders to execute welding programs.

    ·    Teach operators proper sequence in loading fixtures.

    ·    Validate weld integrity with nondestructive test.

    ·    Measure final product to Customer blueprint.

    ·    Review weld times to validate accuracy.

    ·    Report accurate quantities in ERP system.

    ·    Follow Company Quality and Safety policies.

    ·    Maintain clean and organized work area.

    ·    Load & Operate Robot to satisfy Customer Specifications

    ·    Manage and coordinate Preventative Maintenance schedule to ensure equipment is operating to manufacturers specifications.

    ·    Performs other duties and responsibilities as apparent and/or assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 5 years robotic welding experience or 4 years from accredited robotic welding institution.

    • Metal fabrication experience.

    Pay range $25/hour - $32/hour based on experience.

  • Summary

    As a Laser Application and set up specialist you will provide detailed technical support. Managing special design requests and oversees the standardization of common requests. Programming and operation of lasers. Laser Application and set up specialists are responsible for troubleshooting problems that arise with laser systems. This could involve diagnosing issues with the laser's optical or electronic components, as well as developing solutions to fix these problems.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

    The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. 

    • Setup equipment to run items to satisfy demands from ERP system.

    • Measure and adjust settings as required to produce parts to customer requirements.

    • Manage and coordinate Preventative maintenance schedule to ensure equipment is maintained by manufacturer specifications.

    • Lead research programs by collaborating with managers, technicians, and engineers

    • Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements

    • Identifies and analyzes problems, gathers and sorts relevant data, and processes logically to determine preferred solution; applies knowledge and experience to the pursuit and execution of results that solve problems

    • Program parts to be cut per specifications with best cutting conditions and material utilization.

    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as apparent and/or assigned.

    • Train department employees on Quality and Safety Procedures.

    • Operate machine to produce parts per specification

    • Report quantities produced into ERP system

    • Disposition parts with poor edge quality to correct process to remove condition

    • Provide daily department/machine uptime report

    • Report machine downtime and coordinate repairs

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience

    Required:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • 3 to 5 years’ experience setting up and programming Laser Cutting machines

    Preferred:                                  

    • Bachelor’s degree engineering,

    • Metal fabrication experience

    • Bilingual Spanish  

    Language Skills 

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, product and component specifications, data sheets and procedure manuals.

    Summary

     To join materials together utilizing the proper welding technique to satisfy customer requirements. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

    The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. 

    • Read blueprints to determine correct process for welding product.

    • Determine appropriate welding equipment and welding sequence.

    • Weld components together to satisfy Customer Specifications.

    • Validate weld integrity with non-destructive test.

    • Report in ERP system accurate quantities completed.

    • Measure final product to Customer blueprint

    • Maintain clean and organized work area.

    • Perform Daily/Weekly Preventative maintenance as assigned

    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as apparent and/or assigned.

    • Model the right behavior in terms of initiative, compliance, moral character (honor, integrity, and courage) and work ethic to create teamwork and mutual respect amongst employees.

    • 3 to 5 years welding experience or 4 years from accredited welding institution.

    • Metal fabrication experience.

    • A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution.

    Language Skills   

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, product and component specifications, data sheets and procedure manuals.

    $18-$25/hour. Pay range based on experience.
