LUDLOW STAYS AT FOREFRONT OF TECHNOLOGY WITH NEW 20KW LASER
Ludlow has taken another major step to stay at the leading edge of technology: investing in a NEW Bystronic ByStar Fiber 20kW Laser, the first to be installed in North America!
“This powerful laser allows us to maximize productivity in almost every way,” said President Todd Ludlow. “The 20kW laser is faster, more powerful, and even allows us to offer more advanced applications to our customers on steel and aluminum sheets with up to 50 millimeter thicknesses.”
The new Bystronic ByStar 20kW Fiber Laser is even more powerful than the Bystronic ByStar Fiber 3015 15kW Ludlow purchased last year. The 20kW offers 40% higher productivity in mild steel and stainless steel with thickness between 4-20 mm compared to the Bystronic ByStar 15kW Fiber Laser. It also offers shorter piercing times with sheet thicknesses above 15 mm.
In addition to speed, the Bystronic ByStar 20kW Fiber Laser provides precise laser cutting on a variety of materials, including aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and steel, and material thicknesses. This powerful fiber laser can also process steel and aluminum sheets up to 50 millimeters.
Ludlow can maximize the productivity of this new fiber laser with its in-house nitrogen generation system and automated laser automation.
