LUDLOW ENHANCES SERVICE DELIVERY WITH NEW LATHE AND METAL FORMING MACHINE
In an effort to continually deliver faster, high-quality service to customers, Ludlow Manufacturing has added a XLTbend Metal Folding Machine and Tsugami B0325B-III Swiss Type CNC Automatic Lathe to their equipment line-up. These machines allow Ludlow to enhance their metal forming and machining services, in the same way Ludlow has been able to offer faster, more precise cutting with their recent acquisition of a Bystronic 20kW Fiber Laser (as well as the Bystronic ByStar Fiber 3015 15kW Laser).
The XLTbend Metal Folding Machine is able to deliver superior metal handling and forming services. The machine delivers complex and precise folds to sheet metal parts, such as cassettes, panels, and boxes. The XLTbend is capable of bending large and heavy components, and performs excellent metal forming on small and large runs of parts.

The Tsugami B0325B-III Swiss Type CNC Automatic Lathe is a 32 mm, 5-axis Swiss Type Lathe equipped with high-end performance features. This Swiss Type Lathe comes with a 4-Spindle Cross Rotary Tool and a deep hold drill holder. With 27 tool positions in standard configuration, the Tsugami Swiss Type Lathe is a versatile machine with easy-to-change rotary tools, ID holders and turning holders. In addition to versatility, this lathe offers a fast 8,000 rpm main spindle speed and rapid traverse rate of 32 m/min.
